| Amerique is an exclusive French restaurant featuring a montage of avant-garde design elements in the trendsetting River North neighborhood, located at the crossroads of Chicago’s iconic Magnificent Mile and State Street shopping corridors. While employed at Pappageorge Haymes, Ltd., Paul V. Satas helped provide the elaborate architectural solution for this reenergized industrial building. Amerique was the first home of critically acclaimed chef and restaurateur Jenny Newbury. Exposed raw concrete floors and ceilings are juxtaposed aside contrasting streamlined geometry. The grand dining hall is appointed with exquisite details and illuminated by a soft wall of sheer curtains. Amerique exemplifies the sophisticated atmosphere of metropolitan Chicago into an unparalleled dining experience.
